30 things before 30

I’m trying thirty new things every day for a month before I turn 30 . . .

Dana is 29 and ready for something new.  30 somethings new.  This blog will chronicle the 30 new things that I do or that happen to me in the 30 days before I turn 30.  So stay tuned.  Surely some of those 30 things will be interesting.  And if you’re feeling bored with my activities, suggest some different ones.  Tell me what you did to mark your 30th or share something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t yet.

Why am I doing this?  Read the first post.

Want to get in touch with me?  Email me.

What happens after I turn 30?  I guess we’ll all have to wait and see.

  1. Though i’m envious of your ambition and positive attitude towards this birthday (its too late for me as of yesterday :), I think this is a fantastic idea and definitely good for the soul.

    Here’s a few suggestions:
    – Climb the wall (or try a game you’ve never tried) at the renaissance festival
    – Go to an adult dance class
    – Listen to a podcast about something completely foreign to you. These are great ways to learn while you’re walking to work!
    – Write a poem! If you’ve already done this, write in a new form – haiku? Someone said screenplay – which seems unreasonable – but a poem you could do.

Good luck. I’m loving reading your updates. Hope the whole next decade is as adventursome as this month!
